Milan Melindo made short work of Jesus Geles to earn the WBO international flyweight belt via TKO in the opening round.Melindo, one of ALA Gym’s prized fighters, exploited Geles’ feeble body with vicious shots to the mid-section as the Columbian, who came in three pounds over the 112 limit, went down three times before the referee stopped the fight. Melindo remained unbeaten as he improved to 27 wins, 11 coming by way of knockout.
